Our Sisters … can’t wait. Here’s what you can do to help today

It’s strange, and hopefully not too conceited, to think that someone might unwrap a copy of one of my books this Christmas. I hope they’ll be pleased! A book lives on long after an author has finished writing it, and that’s a little scary! Will I live up to the beliefs and ideals I have expressed in my books and other writings? (On a couple of occasions, someone has challenged my … read my third author newsletter here.

DislocatedChristians exists to create and support a community of like-minded people. I’ve described myself as Dislocated because I sometimes struggle to understand how God wants me to be in the world, but not of the world. I also move house a lot!

Please like, comment on, or share my articles if you’ve found them helpful. I’d be immensely grateful if you could follow me; enter your email address towards the bottom of the page. I promise not to bombard you with messages, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

If you’d like to support my writing, please consider buying one of my books. I’m undertaking some challenging (and costly) new projects, and if you’d like to encourage me with them, please consider buying me a coffee on Kofi.

Just as we are each a work in progress, so too is DislocatedChristians. Sometimes I’ll get things wrong, and I hope you’ll forgive me and continue to stick around when that happens.

  2. Nira’s abductor was arrested by the police in Pakistan on Saturday, just two days after this newsletter! I am delighted and praising God for such a quick answer to our prayers. As far as my contacts are aware, this man is running out of funds to bribe the police to release him, having already sold some of his family property. So, we hope this means the police will keep him in custody this time, and if he is released, hopefully, he’ll be scared off from approaching Nira again.
