A song of songs for the brokenhearted

I know we’ve met before,

but now I just see glimpses of you.

Peeking in at the window,

hiding in the garden.

But Lord I feel too tired to chase after you.

Too broken to delight in hide and seek.

Trapped inside, all I can do is smile when you appear.

If that’s enough, will you come in and be with me?
