I write these posts because I love God and want my readers to see Him in fresh ways. I’m constantly surprised by how God continues to defy my expectations and breaks out of any box I might put Him in.

Foolish Wisdom
You don’t have to go far on the internet, to find plentiful examples of posts in which Christians are accused of being idiots. Sometimes these attacks come in the form of lengthy arguments; in others, the accusations are short attacks full of swear words and vitriol. Why is it that so many Christians cherish the wisdom they find in the Bible, but that same knowledge seems like complete nonsense to those outside the faith? Why the mismatch?
Old News
As Christians, we have brilliant news to share. Every person, from each culture and country, can have hope and freedom. Their sins are forgiven and everything that causes pain and destruction has been overcome. It is incredible, but Jesus victory over sin and darkness took place a long time ago. Rather than generating excitement, telling people about his death and resurrection can seem like passing on old news.
